Romulus, My Father is based on Raimond Gaita's critically acclaimed memoir. It tells the story of Romulus (Eric Bana), his beautiful wife, Christina (Franka Potente), and their struggle in the face of great adversity to bring up their son, Raimond (Kodi Smit-McPhee). It is a story of impossible love that ultimately celebrates the unbreakable bond between father and son. Winner of 4 AFI awards, including Best Film and Best Lead Actor.

A classic Australian film by one of Australia’s best known directors, Peter Weir. Set against stunning landscapes, Gallipoli is the tragic tale of two Australian men, Frank Dunne and Archy Hamilton, (played by a very young Mel Gibson and Mark Lee respectively) who have both enlisted to participate in the Gallipoli campaign overseas. The film follows their journey from Perth to the training ground in Cairo and finally the Dardanelles. Winner of 6 AFI awards and nominated for Best Foreign Film at the 1982 Golden Globes.
