What do I Need to Bring to the Passport Interview?
 

Australian Passport Overseas Renewal Application (PC7)

  • Completed passport overseas renewal application (PC7) 
  • Current passport
  • Two (2) passport sized photographs. Please ensure the photos conform to the Australian passport requirements otherwise we will not be able to accept the application.

Application for an Australian Passport Overseas (PC8) – Child

  • Completed overseas passport application (PC8)
  • Original Birth Certificate
  • Original Citizenship Certificate (If born outside of Australia)
  • Current passport (If applicable)
  • Lodging parent’s photo ID (e.g. passport)
  • Both parents’ written consent on the parent’s consent section of the application (page 4)
  • Evidence of any name change for either parent (e.g. Marriage Certificate, change of name certificates etc.)
  • Two (2) passport-sized photos as per Australian passport requirements. The back of one photograph must be signed by a guarantor stating ‘this is a true photo of <insert child’s full name>’ with the guarantor\'s signature. The guarantor must have known your newborn for at least 12 months or since birth; must not be related to your newborn by birth or marriage and must not reside with you. The guarantor will also need to complete section 11 of the passport application.

Application for an Australian Passport Overseas (PC8) – Adult

  • Completed overseas passport application (PC8)
  • Original Proof of Citizenship e.g. Original Birth Certificate (if born in Australia), Citizenship Certificate;
  • Current passport (If applicable)
  • Original Photo ID with signature e.g. Current Driver’s Licence, Foreign ID card
  • Original Proof of current residential address e.g. Current bank statement, phone statement
  • Original Confirmation of your signature e.g. current credit card or bank card or drivers licence
  • 2 x passport sized photographs as per our requirements outlined on the website here. The back of one photograph must be signed by a guarantor stating ‘this is a true photo of <insert applicant’s full name>’ with their signature. The guarantor must have known you for at least 12 months, must not be related by birth or marriage and must not reside with the applicant. The guarantor will also need to complete section 11 of your passport application.
